I have been incredibly blessed this cycle with multiple acceptances so I understand this is a bit of a first world problem. but I have also received waitlists from my #1 and #2 choices.

I’m struggling on who I should send a letter of intent to. My #1 choice most likely will have very few (if any) waitlist offers, so I understand I will most likely not get accepted and speaking to current students, a LOI is virtually redundant because of their prestige.

My #2 though has stated they really like communication from applicants and I know their waitlist sees more movement.

A part of me is holding out on an A from my #1, so I’m hesitant in sending a LOI to my #2. what should i do?

p.s I had already sent update letters/letter of interests prior to both prior to receiving waitlist decisions
