Interview Advice
I want to hear other people's take on this topic. I feel like I see so many med students online posting "interview advice" or even offering mock interviews for money and things like that and then they tell you about their cycle and it will be like "I got 13 MD II and got into 9". I feel like with those people, the reason they got into those schools is the same reason why they got so many interviews: they have really good stats + ECs + story + etc. Like it prob wasn't their stellar interviewing skills, not saying that they are bad. I feel like I want to hear advice from the people that got like 4 interviews and got into all of them. Not saying that they aren't good candidates, but maybe for them the interview was actually more significant in the decision whether to admit them. Just a thought, this isn't that deep (i still believe the interview isn't that important to the decision either way, in the sense that it can hurt you if you do bad but wont help you that much if you do great). Anyways, just wanted to hear other people's thoughts!
