Hi yall! I just got into my school’s MD/MPH program, and was wondering if it’s worth it. It’s about an extra $50k, but I can budget it within my loans so it’s not the worst thing in the world. I WON’T have to take an extra year, so I don’t have to pay for another year of housing.

I’m pretty set on doing EM as my specialty, as was wondering if an MPH would help me with residency apps. This is all super far out stuff, but since I have to decide whether or not I want to do this MPH NOW, I feel like I have to think long term too.
