I was WLed in November, and they have a pretty big service mission whereas my app is definitely heavier on research (though not devoid of service and I have some specific interests related to the mission). I'm also OOS.

I've sent 3 updates. 2 were substantial updates with a short paragraph restating interest (October and December) while one was more of a letter of interest with lighter updates (November right after being WLed). so it has been a while & they do accept 5 updates/LOI/LOCI total.

Is it worth sending another letter of interest assuming I can find new things to say that aren't just restating my previous letters? My career goals and specific interest in the school has definitely developed more in the last couple of months.

TL;DR Ik there's prob little to no benefit but should I send an update for peace of mind lol. I guess I'm just paranoid they'll think I'm going somewhere else and want to show my continued interest before WL movement really starts in May, esp since they're now rejecting from the WL(!!). It's Wayne State if anyone knows if they specifically like to see interest from WLed applicants (esp OOS)!
