hi! I'm really grateful to have received a scholarship offer from NYMC for 100k over 4 years but I am required to commit to enroll by May 5th to keep the scholarship and will have to withdraw from my waitlists at UCSF and Mount Sinai. I am wondering if it is appropriate or worth updating UCSF and Mount Sinai about my situation to see if they would consider taking me off the WL sooner. Once May 5th rolls around I will definitely just take the NYMC offer but the other two schools would be an amazing opportunity especially if they were to match the aid. Obviously I'm not in a position to negotiate since I'm on the WL and have no guarantee of getting off, but I'm wondering if I should try to contact them before committing to NYMC.
