tips for not feeling like this cycle is your whole life
some things to try that aren't just "get off admit/sdn/reddit/your email":
1. volunteer. helping those who are less fortunate than you puts things into perspective. filling others' cup helps fills yours.
2. spend time with people you love. we don't have unlimited time with our loved ones, so spend as much time with them as you can. socializing improves mental health.
3. try a new hobby. i recently discovered i really like jigsaw puzzles. looking at community pages for local events/activities is a great idea as well.
4. go see your doctor/provider. if the cycle is interfering with your life a lot and/or is causing you lots of distress, it might be time to talk to your pcp. there may be some therapeutic interventions such as medication, therapy, etc. that can improve your mental health during this time.
