I was lucky enough to get accepted to NYITCOM, but given my stats I was seriously hoping that I'd be able to get an MD school II by now. I've gotten nothing and as Thanksgiving approaches, I'm slowly giving up.

I applied to 37 schools, I’m an ORM F from NY, 514 MCAT (retook after a 500), 3.74 GPA, 3.61 sGPA, 3000 hrs research with abstracts, awarded 1st place for my senior thesis poster, and an upcoming pub that is to be submitted at the end of this year from a T5 university. Also 320 hours of non clinical w leadership of a service student org, 140 hrs (still increasing this) clinical, 3rd quartile Casper, COVID IA (non-academic, I was in the wrong dorm).

I submitted my primary June 11th, verified July 23rd, all secondaries were done by Aug 22nd. I applied broadly for MD, but I haven’t gotten anything at all, except for one pre-II hold from SUNY Upstate. I was lucky to be accepted into 2 DO schools already but I’m just disappointed and confused as to why I haven’t gotten a single II from MD schools at all.
