I feel like I already know the answer is no, but i’m grasping at straws here. i have been super lucky this cycle so i don’t want to complain. I’ve had a lot of interviews, 2 acceptances, and 6 waitlists. Waiting to hear back from a few T20 schools that are non-rolling.

thing is i feel like I’m not that bad at interviewing but i keep getting waitlisted. I know I’m not fantastic at it, but I had interviews i thought went really well then got waitlisted.

anyway my main concern at this point is the schools I got accepted to don’t give out great financial aid. so I was really hoping to get into some other schools that are known to be generous. Especially with the federal loan caps. But should I be tempering my expectations for T10/T20s? Is it possible that some schools yield protect after interviews? Or am I just coping and I’m a bad interviewer/ there’s something else wrong with my app that they’re catching later?
