I am going to a school where there is lackluster public transportation and a car is basically needed. Any recommendations? I want this car to also maybe last me in residency!

Let me know what cars people have gotten. Budget-wise, I don't know lol, but nothing too crazy. Does leasing make sense? Financially-smart ppl let me know!
