Currently choosing between UVA (full price, OOS), UMiami ($30k/year scholarship), and KPSOM (free tuition + $40k year COL grant, so full COA covered and no loans). I can post a full pro/con list for each, but I'm interested in pursuing academic medicine and/or a surgical subspecialty. I'm worried about KP being newer/unranked and having a negative reputation in academic circles, but their scholarship makes them very hard to turn down. I will be financing my education independently and through loans. Any advice would be appreciated!
