I have only gotten one interview invite so far from an in state MD school. However, it took place in August and it’s been radio silence ever since. I am grateful to have one interview so far, but I’m so confused as to why I haven’t gotten any more. its been almost two months of radio silence and I am sitting here thinking to myself, am I a good candidate or not? Did the school I interviewed with miss some flaw in my app that other schools noticed? This process is such a mind f***. This process has me constantly questioning myself and I have had plenty of sleepless nights due to overthinking this BS. Craziest part about all of this is that we all jump through these hoops just so we can pay them half a million dollars. I sometimes hate that I want to be a doctor this bad. That being said tho, I’m seeing this through even if I have to reapply. Goodluck to all of you, I hope that you all get II’s in the coming weeks.
