Not tryna judge, im genuinely curious and wanna learn.

How can you want to be a doctor and take care of vulnerable folks while supporting an administration that is cutting medicaid, SNAP benefits, research funding, federal student loan limit, attacking education, putting an antivaxxer as hhs secretary, etc. Things that are directly harming healthcare, science, your career, and patients' health.

The biggest reason I can think of is lower taxes for when you make a lot of money, but if that's the case, is it safe to assume that ur going into this field mostly for the money and not for the well-being of those in need?

Again no judgement, i truly want to learn :)
