The rejection % on here is 43% now, accounting for those who haven’t logged it and the fact admit users are typically above average I would guess the true rate is 55-60% rejected. This would imply that BU has looked at a minimum of probably 70% of their total applications, which given the number they get seems impossible. Obviously they probably used some cutoffs but for some people who got rejected it seems unlikely they would fall below any cutoff. I therefore think BU probably heavily used AI to evaluate applicants-if you compare it to past years, this seems to track-they always reject a lot but never this much in September
