On the Regular Waitlist for UCLA - any hope?
Hey guys, I interviewed at UCLA in early September and honestly felt really good about it. Since then, I’ve sent three meaningful update letters, including one about a poster award. After all these months of waiting, I ended up on the regular waitlist....
I feel like a clown man lol, I even attended office hours a few times and went to every brown bag. I’m also waitlisted at another school, but they have a really high yield, so I’m not too hopeful there either.
UCLA is my top choice, so this one stings a bit. I was really hoping I had a solid shot, especially since I interviewed early. Does anyone (current or past applicants) know how much movement there actually is on UCLA’s regular waitlist? Is it still realistic to get off, or should I start shifting my mindset toward reapplying?
