I recently got invited to interview at my top school choice and have been wondering if I should send a letter of intent (LOI). I was already planning on sending an update letter before the invite but now that I got an II, I’m not sure how to go about it.

I know that the school accepts LOI but would it be best to do it before my interview, after my interview, or not send one and just tell my interviewer during the interview instead?

Also should I mention anything about my cycle success whether thats II or A, I’ve heard through the grapevines that it helps but I’m not sure how true that it considering they are not short of qualified applicants.

For added context this school is an in-state school with around 60% acceptance post II.
