Admit.org Financial Survey Results

Thank you all for taking our brief financial survey! We ended up getting 300 results (wow!) before closing the survey. Please see the images below for the results of the survey. We hope this information proves interesting and helpful! Over the next month, we will be conducting two additional surveys on other premed topics, so stay tuned.

To better fit the charts, I reduced the answer options to "full", "major", and "minor".

- For question 1, "full" indicates family covering both tuition and cost of living, "major" indicates family covering a large portion of expenses (i.e cost of living, or half tuition), and "minor" indicates family covering smaller expenses (i.e. just car insurance and phone bill).

- For question 2, "full" indicates family covered all application related expenses (MCAT, primary, secondaries), "major" indicates family covered over 50% of expenses, and "minor" indicates family covered less than 50% of expenses

- For question 3, respondents were able (and encouraged) to select more than one option. As total respondents was 300, divide each column by 300 to get the percentage of respondents that indicated each type of expected financial support.

Thank you again, everyone!
