Respect and Humility

Respect and Humility are very important virtues I appreciate seeing in you all (my future peers and future doctors). But I have seen time and time again disagreements on this site where beliefs are challenged (DEI, Integrity, Religion, etc.) and rather than simply trying to put ourselves in the shoes of our peers, we attack, want to make our own points to be "right," and ultimately are invalidating our peers while doing this.

We are all different, have different life stories, and we need to do better.

Growing is a natural part of being human, and we must hold respect for each other, regardless of what beliefs we hold dear. As physicians, we will work with so many diverse patients and we must try to walk in their shoes to truly understand what they are going through.

The moral of my little rant is please be kind to each other and try to uplift, I am kinda getting tired of all the negativity that some of you all are pouring onto this site.
