Was Applying to Med School 3-4 Years Ago Less Competitve Than Now?
Currently debating with my friend rn. They’re saying it was just as hard as it is now than compared to 2020-2023. I beg to differ.
I want to a very famous pre-med school and when I was a freshman and sophomore, it seemed that most premeds from my school had MULTIPLE acceptances to top-tier schools (HMS, UCSF, Stanford, etc.) Now, it seems like peers who graduated with me and younger are increasingly having less successful cycles.
thoughts? I don’t mind if I’m wrong, but I just wanted to see what everyone is at.
