For MD/PhD when they are pulling from the waitlist, and people say they have "significant waitlist movement every year," what does this mean? Since these class sizes are small, are they cycling through a large waitlist, or are they only pulling 1-2, and that's considered significant? I'm not sure how to word it, but I'm just wondering if it's realistic for them to get through a WL or if people start to withdraw from the waitlist, making the waitlist smaller. I guess I just don't really understand how this works all the way. Does the April 15 deadline affect decisions at all, or mainly just the April 30th deadline?
