FINALLY (very late applicant)
First and foremost, GOD BLESS that I am on the other side of this 🙏
For context, I was a SUPER LATE applicant -- think primary submitted in August; most secondaries completed the day of the deadline (Oct/Nov/Dec). I want to warn future cohorts to NOT DO WHAT I DID because I definitely did shoot myself in the foot with some of these schools (like I emailed them asking for an extension and they granted it but im 100% sure they tossed my app in the trash once it came in) BUT hopefully everything will work out the way it is meant to if you find urself in this position. I remember hope-scrolling late app threads on Reddit for hopecore posts that it would all be okay... so allow me to do that for the next gen. Sure, submitting apps early will give you a boost statistically, but if a school wants you, THEY WILL FIND YOUR APPLICATION IN THE PILE AND PURSUE YOU!!!
I would 10000000% echo all the discourse on all these forums..... DO a pre-write, etc to give yourself the best shot to present your story ❤️
