Pretty early in the cycle I interviewed with BU. As soon as I joined my interview, my interviewer told me “Do we even need to interview her?” As in, she felt my application really suited the schools mission. As I went through the interview, it felt like she was trying to recruit me more than I was campaigning myself. By the end of it, she even asked me “what should I say to make sure you come here?” So obviously, I thought I had it in the bag. Come December, deferral. Yesterday, waitlist. Maybe accept me first, you know?

This just goes to show, interviews/your interviewers attitude do not always hold as much weight as you’d expect! And I think that can go either direction!
