With the loan changes this year and fin aid being the absolute #1 priority, how is it possible these trash deadlines exist? How are students expected to make rational choices about the biggest decision of their career?

I don’t understand how these deadlines make sense if fin aid literally isn’t coming out til April at the earliest (a lot of schools send it in summer). It legit makes no sense on the part of these schools and I hope they see yield issues this year and fix their shit up for the upcoming years.
