II reassurance from an M1

I know people are freaking out about not having any interviews right now, so I just wanted to give some insights from my cycle last year. I got two interview invites off the bat in July which both turned into waitlists by October. Then I had radio silence until mid November when I got a T20 interview. I got another invite late December with an interview date that wasn't until mid March. By that time, I also got waitlisted by the T20. The March interview ended up being the school I ultimately matriculated to despite getting off one of the earlier interview waitlists. This process is really random and getting a later interview does not mean that you have less of a chance or aren't as favorable of a candidate. I know several other people who also ended up getting into the schools they got their latest invites for. Sept, Oct, Nov are busy invite months, but so can be Dec, Jan, Feb, even March/April (maybe even for the school you end up going to). There is no set formula or pattern, and somebody else having an II rn doesn't necessarily mean anything against you or your prospects for ultimately getting in.
