got 2As back-to-back this morning off the waitlist after being on 5II->5WLs this cycle. I was really starting to lose hope after 3 of them were T20-25 schools with historically little waitlist movement (but one pulled through!). I had just finished rewriting my personal statement and refining my work/activities section for a reapp too...so words cannot express how many tears were shed at work, like seriously.

to all my fellow WL warriors, my heart goes out to all of you and I pray that you all get off your waitlists soon. the last few months have been so mentally draining, and I know some of you feel the same and may also be losing hope. but I wanted to make this post to just say to hold onto it and send those letters of interest/intent!! even if you're hesitant, anything helps in this uncertain process. and also, don't let your WLs define your capability as a future doctor. you are capable and you will be a doctor.

also want to say thank you to all the users on this forum who've helped me polish my letters and have kept me motivated throughout this cycle. I'm so thankful to have a platform like admit and probably would've gone insane without it haha

(btw I did mention a medical condition in my app, which after speaking with mentors, may have affected my cycle in some capacity. if anyone is applying/re-applying next cycle and wants advice on navigating that, feel free to DM!)
