Not looking for answers regarding need-based financial aid. Just pure merit based negotiation using competing offers. I feel like this could be good info for future applicants

Edit: for more context, I mean straight up merit offers, or using lower ranked schools to negotiate and having success.

To me it seems like private schools within the 5-20 range have the best matching capabilities and generosity just talking merit
