Welcome to the daily WLW rant,

I'm super grateful to have an acceptance to my amazing state school, but Mayo has been stringing me along with this dang Waitlist, haha. Ever since speaking to their students and seeing how incredible the community among the students and docs is, I have seen them as my top choice if I were lucky enough to get in. I have sent my letter of intent and multiple updates, including publications, an international award, and workshops I have led for international students trying to understand healthcare and premed students prepping for the MCAT.

I know I've done all I can, but I can't stop feeling like I should do even more to sway my chances, even just 1%, whether that's an email, calling them, or another update. I am definitely trying to move on, though, and just enjoy life before I start at my state school, which has soooo many pros itself, but I'd be lying if I said that was easy.

Anyways, there is a lot to be grateful for and nothing I can control at this moment it seems. I hope you all are doing well, and thanks for being a funny and supportive group.
