hi! please take this seriously

so I'll likely be attending a school that I am very grateful to have gotten into (2 II--> 1 A and 1 WL)because i only have 1 A, there rly isn't much of a choice...but i cannot help but feeling down and sad because it's in a very (personally- for family, partner, QOL) undesirable location. i would love to hear advice on how people will try to make the most of their time in med school, b/c like it or not when were not studying, we're doing something, and that something typically involves the environment were in. my peers all boast about the "city living" in their 20s, and id be lying if i said its not taken a toll on my excitement for starting school, and after all this hard work it just has me feeling so down.

i realize im in a very privileged position to even have an A, please don't hate. i just want to get others perspectives so i can grow and pursue things before school starts to ensure i make the most of my time. TIA :)
