A manuscript I was working on got published. I haven’t received an interview yet (I did in a previous cycle though) should I send them an update? I kind of wanted to wait to put it in a letter of interest if I don’t hear anything by November. Thoughts? Penn state is my first choice as I’m an alum. Previously getting an II then W then subsequent rejection led me down an insane spiral. I have an even better application now but I feel like competition is even more fierce than it was last time.
