For 6 years I have been dreaming of a place where I would be at this medical school. For six years, I worked towards this dream. For six years, I sacrificed. I got an early interview, and then I was hit with a rejection today. My soul is absolutely crushed. I genuinely feel destroyed and utterly disappointed in myself.
