My interviewer had a some last-minute meetings and was not able to get to read much of my application. So I talked for about 10 minutes about myself summarizing my personal statement. After that, she tried asking about an activity, but it was clearly from the wrong file not mine. After we figured that out she just started asking me questions about things she saw in my room in the zoom background. And other casual conversational things. It seems like it went OK and they liked me, but I wasn’t able to talk about the typical activities that I would normally.

The interview was only about 15 minutes. I had another other short interview that was mainly casual conversation and gotten in but we’d really connected over a hobby.

Should I have pushed the conversation to be more typical in the direction of my activities and extended the interview. Or should I just hope she reads my application and it’s OK.

Do I send an email to the school?
