1) Residency directors don’t care about Admit rankings. They have a sense of which schools they like.

2) Your school dropping X spots or going up Y spots is probably because of changes to the ranking methodology. Your school did not suddenly become significantly better or worse barring extenuating circumstances/issues.

3) No one cares if your school is ranked 55 or 93 or 103.

4) Stop basing your life decisions on how much clout you’d get from neurotic pre-meds for going to a 12th ranked school versus a 9th ranked school.
