Hi everyone, I hope your cycles are going a lot better than mine. I just got placed on an alternate list for the University of Toledo's School of Medicine. Honestly, I'm a low-stat applicant, definitely an instate mission fit, so I wasn’t exactly expecting an acceptance outright. With this info, I suppose I got my hopes high anyway, and as a result, this alternate list placement feels like a loss, even though I know it isn’t. I don’t really know what to do at this point. I’ve been in a state of inertia for the past month, completely unsure of what to do until I get a decision. Now that I have one, it feels like I need to start prepping for the MCAT again and look at the next cycle, which is literally nauseating me as I type this. Does anyone have any insight as to what I should be thinking right now? Toledo's waitlist movement is pretty good, I hear, but I’m not going to be holding my breath. How am I supposed to pull myself up and just start prepping for a new cycle?? Any advice is greatly appreciated
